Cheerfish is our first self-published game (others were published by YoYo Games), and it’s an exciting process. It has also been great working with Game Maker Studio, which allowed us to get the game running on various devices. Porting to Android was easy, we’re just making sure the launch on iPhone goes well, and we can put it up soon.
A lot of love (and way too much time) has gone into the process of making the game. The game is easy-going, so if you want an adrenaline inducing experience you’re out of luck. If you like what you see in the trailer I’m sure you’ll enjoy it! We deliberately tried to make something any person could enjoy.
When the Android version gets out we’ll do another blog post. There’s also a wealth of material from early versions of the game, so if you are interested in seeing something from the design process you can expect those in the near future as well.
For everyone buying the game, we hope it enriches your life, and please let us know what you think. Thanks! Feel free to spread the word as well.
